How to Set Up E-mail in Netscape Messenger 4.5

To set up your cyberMIND e-mail for use with Netscape Messenger , follow these simple steps.

Main window:

  • Click Edit on the menu bar

  • Click on Preferences in the drop down menu.

Category list box:

  • Click on the "+" box next to the Mail & Newsgroup category

  • Click on the Mail Servers category

  • For the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server, type in mail.cyberMIND-usa.net.

  • Under Outgoing mail server user name, enter your e-mail user name.

  • Click the Add button located next to the Incoming Mail Servers window.

  • In the Server Name text box, type in mail.cyberMIND-usa.net.

  • Server Type should be POP3 Server.

  • In the User Name text box, type in your E-MAIL USER NAME.
    You can adjust Netscape Messenger to check your mail every certain number of minutes and to also remember your password or download you e-mail automatically. When you are done with your selections

  • Click the OK button.

Preferences Window:

  • Now you should see "mail.cyberMIND-usa.net" listed in the Incoming Mail Servers window.

  • Click the OK button near the bottom of the screen. This will send you to the main Netscape window. You are now ready to send and receive email.
