How to Set Up E-mail in Microsoft Outlook 98/2000

To set up your cyberM·I·N·D e-mail for use with the Microsoft Outlook 98 configurations, follow these simple steps. Keep these directions in a safe place for future referencing.

Menu Bar

• Open Outlook 98 and select Tools from the Menu Bar.
  

• Select Services in the menu.
  
  

• Click on the Add button
  
  

• Select Internet E-mail
  

• Click OK

Enter cyberMIND Mail into the Mail Account input box

• Name input box: enter your name
  

• E-mail address input box: enter your e-mail address (ex. "username"@cyberMIND-usa.com)
  

• Incoming mail (POP3) input box: enter mail.cyberMIND-usa.net
  
  

• Outgoing mail (SMTP) input box: enter mail.cyberMIND-usa.net

• Account name input box: enter your username
  

• Password input box: enter your password *note If you want Outlook to remember your password, click on the Remember password check box
  
  

• Click on Connection tab

• Click on the Connect to my local area network (LAN) radio button
  

• Click on the OK button

• You are now set up to receive e-mail via Outlook. Congratulations.
